What is a Kite Hub Membership?
Think of it like a gym style membership for kiting, instead of spin bikes and weights you have kites and boards, instead of a boring building you have the beach and the ocean.
You pay for a membership that gives you access to all the kites and boards in our collection (Always the latest seasons). You can find all the stocked equipment in the Available section. The equipment that is on its way that people have asked for will be in the Coming Soon section.
How do I get the kites and boards I want?
Once you are a member and signed in you will have access to the Booking Area. This area will list all the equipment available to you. If there is a certain piece of equipment you would like let us know at contact@thekitehub.com and we will do our best to add it to our collection.
Where do I get the gear I booked?
We will be located at the Safety Bay (The Pond) carpark for you to collect your booked equipment at the time you chose. As demand grows we will be opening up more areas and more locations.
Where can I use the Equipment
The equipment is to be used in either The Pond, Penguin Island or Secret harbour (Return of equipment is to the Safety bay pickup location unless otherwise arranged prior).
Is the gear new or used?
NEW. The equipment is the latest seasons, each season when the new gear is out we will have it.
Do you sell new and used kites?
We will not be selling any new equipment.
As soon as the new equipment is in our hands our members will have access to it. The old equipment will them be moved on through the normal secondhand kite markets.
When do memberships start?
You can expect to see us around Safety Bay (The Pond) as soon at the wind starts, but officially memberships will start on the 1st December. Early Members may even have a few free weeks if they sign up before our official season starting.
What if I damage/lose the kite?
We will be inspecting the equipment after every use to make sure equipment is in top condition for all our members. If you do damage the equipment you will be expected to cover the cost of repair or replacement. It is the same case for lost/stolen equipment.
